China Southern set to launch all-new A330 luxury experience

October 10th, 2007

If the airlines of China are going to compete successfully with the American and other airlines streaming in to their country, they need to lift their game. A good sign is that China Southern Airlines will be launching an all-new First Class and Business Class travel experience with all-new Airbus A330 — available from November 2007.

On board the new A330-300 business class seating is nearly as roomy as those in first class.
When the seat is laid flat, the back shell that surrounds the passenger functions like a curtain — offering passengers the ultimate in privacy to sleep or work in what is almost a private suite.
For long haul international flights there are built-in seat back massagers in both First and Business Class.
‘On-Demand Dining’ service offers passengers the convenience to order their meals and set their own dining times from the airport lounge — in advance of the flight.
Every passenger will also be presented with a silk book-bag containing newspapers and current periodicals.
Now we come to the key: flight attendants serving on-board the new Airbus A-330 have been highly trained to meet the needs of every passenger.

This is where an airline’s service makes it on fails. We will know in November.
