Xi'an to launch industrial zone

November 30, 2009: A scientific and technological industrial zone will be launched in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. The zone will be built by the south bank of Wei River and on the north side of Longshou Plateau.

Xi'an which is to have a new industrial zoneAccording to the Cross-strait Trade and Economic Technological Conference held in Xi'an, a scientific and technological industrial zone will be launched in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province.
 
The zone will be built by the south bank of Wei River and on the north side of Longshou Plateau, covering an area of 1,600.8 square kilometers.
The Shaanxi Sanhuan Modern Scientific and Technological Industrial Zone will have an investment capital of $1.6 billion from Taiwan and Shaanxi Province companies. 
Alibaba reports that Investors include Shaanxi Sanhuan Industries, Jinsheng Industries and Dongxi Industries from Shaanxi Province, and Taiwan Liang'an Industries from Taiwan.
