Helen Lange is Dean, Business Management Programmes and Director, U21 Liaison at U21Global. Dr Lange's career spans professional roles in the banking and finance industry, as well as academic positions in banking and finance, and management. Prior to U21Global, Dr Lange was Associate Professor with Australia's Macquarie Graduate School of Management, where she was Director of MGSM Consulting, a business consulting group within the School, responsible for establishing a new business unit to provide consulting services to corporations and governments. Her most recent project was a large UNDP-funded project for the Malaysian Government. Before joining MGSM, Dr Lange was a member of faculty at the School of Banking and Finance at the University of New South Wales, Australia. Dr Lange's areas of expertise are financial management, enterprise risk management, corporate governance, financial risk management and bank management. Dr Lange has extensive industry experience, with over 15 years in finance, banking, merchant banking and life insurance. Her consulting activities cover many aspects of finance and centre on investment banking and compliance and governance issues. The second edition of her book, Financial Institutions Management, has recently been published (McGraw Hill) and is used extensively in Australian universities' bank management programmes. She has recent publications in the areas of corporate finance, securitisation, corporate governance, takeovers, institutional investment, ownership concentration and small business financing. Dr Lange is a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australia, a founding board member of the Turnaround Management Association in Australia, and a member of a number of international finance and economics associations. She has a PhD from Macquarie University. |

In 1993, Simon relocated from Canada to Shanghai & joined Inchcape Group as Chief Executive, Central China, specializing in automotive retailing, buying services and mar¬keting distribution in China. In 1995, Simon joined Philips Electronics and served some 8 years in various General Manager Positions at Philips Lighting East Asia. Before moving to China in 1993, Simon was Divisional Manager of Consumer Division of Chicago based Getz Brothers Corporation in Hong Kong; China General Manager of Carnation Food Company of USA & was International Trade Director, China & South Pacific of the Canadian Government of Alberta, Canada's Ministry of International Trade. Simon joins China Team International, as President in 2003 & CHINA TEAM INTERNATIONAL is the winner of the prestigious "China Recruitment Firm of the Year 2004" award. |

Mr. Mark Lawrence, Managing Director of Caliper China has lived in China for over seven years. Mark has extensive experience as an entrepreneur and in corporations and has successfully developed a number of businesses in the technical and human resources fields. Prior to taking up the role as Managing Director, Mark was Consulting Director of Professional Services for Manpower China. In this capacity, he was responsible for all Manpower Professional branches across China and provided services to clients in the Pharmaceutical, Consumer, FMCG, Chemicals & Utilities, Services, Finance, Consulting, IT Hardware, IT Software, Semi-conductor, and Electrics & Mechanics industries. While at Manpower, Mark established the China Key Accounts structure and served as the representative for global key accounts. He also executed the marketing strategy and aligned local brand initiatives with global branding guidelines. Mark was also active in recruiting for senior roles across China. Mark was a recognized coach and mentor and developed client communication and sales delivery skills to achieve growth and profit targets. Mark also created and delivered numerous sales training courses for branch managers, consultants and researchers. Prior to Manpower, Mark was a Corporate Trainer and developed and delivered Business English Language training programs tailored to the requirements of Chinese businesses and universities. Mark was also a business owner and established a procurement company in China and also successfully built up and sold a $4 million systems company. Mark has received a number of business awards in the UK including the Banbury Start-up Business of the Year and Business of the Year and the Oxfordshire Business of the year and Investors in Education. He is a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai and a Fellow of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management. A graduate in engineering from Oxford University, he also attended a mini- MBA program at the University of Warwick. Mark speaks Spanish and is currently learning Mandarin Chinese. |

Winston Nyo brings with him 17 years of business development experience in Southeast Asia with the last 10 years being in China. In those years, he had worked for renowned Singapore, American, Swedish and UK companies. Winston was a critical member of the team that turnaround the Swedish company's business in China that became the largest market in the world for the company and was invited as a guest speaker in many occasions, including a course on product management in IMD Switzerland, to share his experiences in implementing product strategies in China. Winston was also invited by the China Chainstore and Franchise Association to share about a new idea on Customer Category Management for retail marketing.
