Fundamentals of Business Travel ManagementTM - Associate Level” (FBTM) - The Only Non-productionMaterial Procurement Course in China


TTG Asia Events, in partnership with Global Business Travel Association (GBTA), brought Corporate TravelExpertSM Course(CTESM) to Shanghai for the first time in April, 2011. It gained wide praise from over 20 participants working in corporations, travel management companies and travel agencies.In April of 2012, TTG Asia Events, in collaboration with GBTA again, introduced“Fundamentals of Business Travel ManagementTM - Associate Level” (FBTM) to Shanghai for the first time.As of now, this is the only non-production material procurement course and IT&CM is the only platform.


As the first step of completion of the brand new FBTM advancedseries, this course covers 5 aspects: 1. overview of travel management; 2. management of supplier relationship; 3. security and risk management; 4. travel technology basics; 5. measurement: trends, forecasting, and reporting value. It has beenre-formulated with the latest globally accepted best practices, concepts, tools, skillsand know-how required to optimise company’s travel spending and Corporate TravelROI.In 2012, nearly 50 participants in the class claimed to benefit a great deal after the study and the assessment.


The course will be arranged on April 17th, 2013 in Jin Jiang Tower Hotel, Shanghai. The examination will be arranged on the morning of April 18th, in Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Centre (SWEECC). This course is part of Shanghai ConferenceWeek, from 15th to 20th of April. The reason to arrange the venue of examination at SWEECC is to provide convenience for participants to visit IT&CM thereafterfor free. The participants can take the chance to do business with both Chinese and global travel service suppliers face to face. In addition, Australia Tourism Board will provide a welcome luncheon for all the participants on April 18th. They wish to develop deeper communication with the travel managers of Chinese business corporations.
