Deal to develop Mercure brand

Accor and Beijing Tourism Group have established a 50-50 joint venture hotel management company, which will manage and expand the three-star Mercure brand north of the Yangtze River.

The partners have already secured management contracts for three existing hotels in Beijing to be rebranded as Mercure properties. They plan to establish a network of at least 20 hotels during the next three years.
