Dragonair boosts flight frequencies

1 April 2002

Despite a downturn in the global aviation sector, Hong Kong's Dragon Airlines said it would continue to expand its fleet and increase its services to the mainland.

The SAR's number two passenger carrier is taking delivery of four new aircraft this year, which will allow it to boost the frequency of its services between Hong Kong and China's two leading cities. Starting this month, the number of its weekly services to Beijing will rise from 35 to 42 and to Shanghai from 48 to 56, the company said.
