Avic wins Airbus contracts

Avic I also announced that three of its units had won contracts worth US$169m to supply parts for the singe-aisle A320 aircraft. Xian Aircraft and Shenyang Aircraft would supply wing parts, while Chengdu Aircraft would make floor grids. Wing parts for 500 aircraft would be delivered at the rate of four sets a month, starting in 2005.
