Forbes to publish Chinese edition

Forbes magazine is due to start publication of a Chinese language edition in April for distribution in the mainland, South China Morning Post said. As part of its commitment to the Chinese market, Forbes is holding its global economic forum in Shanghai in September 2003 and is inviting 350 business leaders. The focus of the forum will be on China's role in energising global business. Shanghai Daily said that Rupert Murdoch, chairman of News Corp, and Li Ka-shing, chairman of Cheung Kong (Holdings), are expected to speak.
