Broader definition of unemployment

China will expand its definition of unemployment to include people earning less than the local living allowance, China Dailysaid, quoting a Ministry of Labour and Social Security spokesman. They would be included as a new category in the unemployment figures. No date was given for the introduction of the change but the government has approved the measure and it should be
implemented soon.
