Customs simplification seminar

Customs officials from China, Mongolia and the central Asian republics met in Almaty, Kazakhstan, in April to discuss simplification of customs procedures for trade between them. The purpose of the meeting organised by the Asian Development Bank was to implement a common action plan for promoting trade between the countries as part of a regional co-operation programme for east and central Asia.
