Japan-based Denso, which manufactures air-conditioners and other equipment for motor ears, plans to
triple its sales in China before April 2006 and to more than double output in the country over
the next couple of years. The company supplies parts to Toyota and has six joint ventures in
China.
Earlier this year it set up a partnership
agreement with Guangzhou
Automobile Group Components to make air condition-ers for Honda Motor's ventures in
China. It is also in talks with Toyota's Chinese partner First Automobile Works to set up
alliances with its parts-making affiliates.
