Boeing to sell 30 planes to China

Officials within China's State Development Planning Commission said that China will purchase 30 airplanes from Boeing. The sale of Boeing 737 planes to Chinese carriers such as Shandong Airlines and Xiamen Airlines will total around US$2 billion.

Boeing officials said that the airplane sale would likely be announced during Premier Wen Jiabao's visit to the United States.
