China suspends human rights talks with US

China announced the suspension of its dialogue on human rights with the US. The move came after the US decided to sponsor a resolution condemning China for alleged human rights abuses at this year's meeting of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights in Geneva. US State Department spokesman Richard Boucher said that the US wasn�t bothered by China's suspension of talks with the US because previous meetings had been fruitless.
