State-owned Yilin Press says it has officially complained to authorities over the appearance of Chinese versions of My Life, the Bill Clinton autobiography, the Associated Press reported. An official at Yilin, which is credited in some versions as Clinton's Chinese publisher, said China's Copyright Bureau had been alerted. Alfred A. Knopf, Clinton's New York publisher, owns the rights and maintains it has yet to sign a deal for a Chinese-language version. Some counterfeiters mistakenly credit Simon & Schuster, Hilary Clinton's publisher, in their fake publishing information.
