FedEx gets new cargo routes

FedEx said it got US Department of Transportation approval to increase weekly China cargo flights to 23. The expanded schedule will provide westbound service between the US to Shanghai, with stops in Europe and Asia. Another six routes, beginning in March, will serve connect Shanghai and Shenzhen with US ports via Japan and India to Shanghai, Shenzhen and other Asian destinations. The new routes result from the latest Sino-US air agreements signed in July.
