Nearly 10% of China's Internet users switched e-mail accounts in the June-August period, responding to offers for more storage capacity, according to a survey made by the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC). Yahoo, Sina and Netease have all instituted free e-mail services with 1 GB+ storage since Google Inc launched free mail of 1 GB in April this year.
