CSRC to accelerate capital market reform

China Securities Regulatory Commission Vice Chairman Tu Guangshao said the watchdog would shut brokerages that broke the rules in an effort to accelerate ongoing clean-up efforts across the capital markets sector. He said the reform pace would be speeded up to align China with international best practice in areas such as corporate governance and investor protection.
