Taiwan in mainland fruit campaign

Taiwan's Council of Agriculture said it would launch a promotion campaign in Guangdong province, Japan and Hong Kong, where 50 supermarkets will be loaded up with fruit produced on the island. Officials said they aimed to sell 200 tons of mandarin oranges in the two-week campaign. Also on the menu: oranges, papayas, grapefruit, pineapples, starfruit, guavas and pomelos.
