Panda blood center nearing completion

State media reported that the Giant Panda Protection and Research Centre in Southwest China's Sichuan Province will finish building China's first giant panda blood bank later this year. Preliminary studies found that pandas have different blood types, but "researchers do not know a lot about the matter," Centre Deputy Chief Engineer Huang Yan said.
