Open to anything, on one condition

Wang Zaixi, deputy director of the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, said Beijing was ready to talk about anything, including the missile issue, so long as discussions were conducted within the one-China principle. Wang, speaking after Kuomintang leader Lien Chan returned to Taiwan, said he expected cross-strait discussions to advance even further when People First Party (PFP) Chairman James Soong begins his upcoming visit to the mainland.
