Broadcasts under more scrutiny

While announcing it has issued the first licence for Internet protocol TV (IPTV) and mobile phone TV programs to Shanghai TV Station, a subsidiary of the Shanghai Media Group (SMG), the State Administration of Radio, Film and TV (SARFT) said it would closely monitor broadcasts on the Internet, TV and mobile communications networks, state media reported. SMG declined to disclose the details of the deal.
