China will soon unveil a quota system on textile exports to European markets in accordance with the recent Sino-European deal that limits the growth of certain Chinese textile exports to the EU, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing industry executives. The quota may also be adapted for the US market, which in May imposed quotas on certain categories of Chinese textile products. A textile trade row between China and the EU and US ensued after Chinese textile exports surged following the end of the global quota regime Jan. 1.
