Guangdong trade volume up

Guangdong province, China's leading foreign trader, increased its import and export volume 16% year-on-year to US$150.58bn in the firsts five months of this year, accounting for 28.8% of China's total, state media reported. Growth in exports to Africa and the Middle East is driving the rise in volume, Guangdong officials said. Hong Kong, the US, the EU, Japan and ASEAN remain Guangdong's biggest trade partners.
