FedEx deal for Baiyun air hub

The US logistics courier and logistics company FedEx will sign an accord next month, making Baiyun Airport in Guangzhou its second Asia-Pacific hub, The Standard of Hong Kong reported, quoting a source close to the negotiations on Monday. The airport authority will spend as much as US$192.97 to build a warehouse and cargo runway for FedEx. Operations could begin in August next year.
