EU President to visit Beijing

Jose Manuel Barroso, President of EU Commission, will pay his first official visit to China from July 14 to 18 to discuss with Premier Wen Jiabao issues including the lifting of EU's arms embargo on China and EU recognition of China's full market economy status, state media reported. Barroso will visit Beijing, Shanghai, Macao and Hong Kong.
