Trade surplus doubles

China's 2005 global trade surplus is forecast to increase to US$70bn, from US$32bn last year, due, in part, to decreased imports of energy, raw materials and agricultural products, state media reported. The surplus with the US is some US$100bn, or US$190bn by US government calculations.
