New stock rules expand accessiblity

New rules issued by the mainland stock exchanges allow fund investors to buy and redeem open-end funds directly at the stock exchanges, state media reported. The new rules are designed to help smaller fund management companies which previously had to sell their products through approved banks and brokerages.
