Tourism grows in Beijing

A record 1.67m overseas tourists poured into Beijing in the first half of this year, a 26% increase from the same period last year, state media reported. Visitors from Japan, South Korea and the US accounted for 40% of the visitors, while there was a 30% increase in British, French and German tourists.
