House approves sanctions for countries selling arms to China

The US House of Representatives passed a measure that would penalize European firms for selling US weapons technology to China, Agence France-Presse reported. "The East Asian Security Act" applauds the EU decision to defer termination of its arms embargo to China, but warns against European firms using loopholes to aid Beijing's military build-up.
