Rumsfeld to visit China

US Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld will visit China next month for the first time since assuming office in 2001. No specific timing or schedule has been set. The announcement of Rumsfeld's visit comes after President Hu Jintao's visit to the US was cancelled due to Hurricane Katrina.
