CCB allocates IPO

China Construction Bank is allocating more than 50% of its US$8 billion initial public offering to long-term institutional investors in a bid to build a stable public shareholding base, the South China Morning Post reported, citing unnamed sources. Short-term investors, including retail and corporate investors, are said to be allocated 30% of the offering.
