Garment export deals off 10%

Shanghai's China Export Commodities exhibition, the nation's biggest trade fair, saw garment transactions fall 10% to US$2.46 billion since the spring show, with US sales dropping 44%, according to the Ministry of Commerce website. The EU won agreement from Beijing to stop exports of sweaters, trousers or bras this year, but October talks with the US ended without agreement.
