Nuclear talks resume in Beijing

Negotiations aimed at persuading North Korea to abandon its nuclear program are to resume in Beijing November 9, reported AP. The six-nation talks, of which there have been four rounds in two years, seek to establish an agreed discommissioning schedule, including inspection procedures. North Korea demands concessions before disarming. The latest demand is for a light water nuclear reactor, which Washington rejects.
