China expects to send three men into orbit in two years and then build a space station before completing a moon mission, reported state media. A rocket able to lift 25 tonnes into space, an increase from the present eight-tonne capability, is expected to be ready for launch in 2012. China also plans to put a man on the moon, but faces delays until it develops technology to land and take off from the lunar surface.
