Beijing's live poultry markets have been shut down as officials swept door-to-door seizing chickens and ducks from private homes to fight bird flu, the AP reported. The virulent H5N1 strain of the virus has killed 62 people in Asia since 2003, and caused the culling of millions of birds. An investigation into whether bird flu killed a 12-year-old girl in Henan has been re-opened.
