Hainan Airlines to buy into CR Airways

An executive at China's Hainan Airlines has confirmed that the carrier is in advanced negotiations to purchase a 60% stake in small Hong Kong-based air service CR Airways, reported the Wall Street Journal. Meanwhile, CN is in talks to buy single-aisle and wide-body aircraft from Boeing. The company wouldn't disclose the number of jets but a South China Morning Post report cited 30 737-800 narrow-body jetliners and 10 787 Dreamliners.
