The structure of state-owned economy has been improved after four years of reforms, said Li Rongrong, head of State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC), in the latest issue of Qiushi, a magazine distributed to Communist Party members. Through the reforms, said Li, state-owned capital has been concentrated into six major industries: energy, natural resources, transportation, military, large equipment manufacturing and metallurgy, Economic Observer reported (in Chinese). With 77 state-owned enterprises participating in 41 restructuring efforts, the total number of national-level state-owned enterprises has decreased from 196 to 157, he said.
