Oracle, Hisense to tap digital plug in application

American IT firm Oracle has announced it will cooperate with Qingdao-based Hisense to explore the plug-in application market, Economic Observer reported (in Chinese). According to the agreement, Hisense will perform research along with Oracle on integrating Oracle's database products, such as Oracle Berkeley, with various electronic appliances and handheld and mobile devices to be sold on the Chinese market. The two companies will work together on definition, testing, debugging and technical training for the project.
