The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission has named 30 of China's 155 state-owned enterprises to go public by the end of 2010, Xinhua reported (in Chinese). The listings are to be direct share sales of the companies themselves rather than through subsidiaries, which has been the usual practice. The national firms tapped to list, such as China Minmetals, China National Nuclear Corp, China National Aviation Holding Company and Dongfang Electric, are in industries considered strategically important.
