The US recalled some 665,000 China-made products on Thursday, ranging from children's jewelry to cake decorations, because they contained excessive amounts of lead, Reuters reported. The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the products to include 38,000 "Go Diego Go" toy boats from Mattel's Fisher-Price division. US retailers and manufacturers have stepped up product testing, which some companies have said should result in more recalls. More than 20 million toys made in China were recalled worldwide over the past four months due to potentially dangerous levels of lead and other hazards.
