Kodak sells Lucky Film stake

Eastman Kodak has sold its 13% stake in Chinese film company Lucky Film to a Chinese venture capital firm, ending a four-year investment, Economic Observer reported (in Chinese). Lucky Film's parent company will transfer 7% of its listed unit to Kodak, increasing its stake to 20% before it sells the full amount to Guangzhou Chengxin Venture Investment for US$37 million. Kodak will continue to provide patent, raw materials and equipment maintenance services to Lucky Film after the divestment.
