CIC starts global recruitment drive

China Investment Company has launched a recruiting website to find and hire investment experts from all over the world, Xinhuanet reported (in Chinese). The 24 high-profile jobs initially offered on the website include investment managers for European, North American and emerging markets, fixed-interest income investment managers, senior researchers and market analysts. The sovereign investment fund's investment, a US$3 billion stake in private equity firm Blackstone, has lost US$871 million so far.
