China is launching a three-month nationwide crackdown on sexually suggestive video and audio products that will include new permit requirements for video sharing web sites, AP reported. The General Administration of Press and Publication said audio and video producers should stop making "vulgar" products and recall those already on the market. The censorship campaign will be enforced through nationwide spot-checks conducted. Companies that continue to make and sell the prohibited products will be punished.
