EU proposes China partnership over Africa

European Union Development Commissioner Louis Michel said on Wednesday that he would present plans for a partnership with China over Africa, AFP reported. He said that any partnership would be discussed between Africa, China and the EU. Michel did not mention any details of the plans, which could cover trade and development issues in Africa, but said he would present them after his first official visit to China in March.
