Fuji Xerox opens e-waste recycling plant

Fuji Xerox has opened the mainland's first foreign-operated electronic-waste recycling plant in Suzhou Industrial Park in Suzhou, Jiangsu province. The facility is being operated by a newly created company, Fuji Xerox Aike Manufacturing (Suzhou) Co Ltd, which has a total investment of US$6 million was the first foreign resources recycling plant in China. A Fuji Xerox representative told China Business Net (in Chinese) that the plant will process 15,000 used printers and copiers and 500,000 toner drums annually.
