Experts sent to Tokyo over dumpling case

China has sent five quality control experts to Tokyo to investigate a food poisoning panic allegedly caused by tainted dumplings made in China, Bloomberg reported. The experts will meet with Japanese counterparts to determine how the pesticide methamidophos ended up in the frozen dumplings made by Tianyang Food. As of February 1, some 1,117 Japanese in 39 prefectures said they became ill from eating the dumplings. A Hebei province quality control official said that no proof of poisoning had been found in the factory that produced the dumplings.
