Software industry grew 20% in 2007

Revenue from China's software sector grew 20.8% year-on-year in 2007, according to the Ministry of Information Industry, state media reported. Of the industry's total revenue of US$80.8 billion, product sales (US$27.9 billion) and system integration (US$20.7 billion) were the two highest-grossing areas. Software and technology services saw the sharpest growth, rising 24.8% to US$13.6 billion.
