Hong Kong's government closed all primary schools, special schools, nurseries and kindergartens for two weeks in response to a flu outbreak after several deaths, the South China Morning Post reported. A 21-month-old baby died late last month and a three-year-old boy was moved to intensive care after suffering from severe flu symptoms. Three other children have also died after displaying flu-like symptoms. A committee is investigating the cause of those deaths. The government's decision reverses its statement yesterday, which had said closing schools was unnecessary.
