CCB mulls stake in Indonesian lender

China Construction Bank (CCB), the country's second-largest financial services company, has expressed interest in buying up to a 20% stake in PT Bank Negara Indonesia, Bloomberg reported, citing Indonesian newspaper Bisnis Indonesia. The stake is valued at around US$682 million. Officials from both banks met in Hong Kong recently, the newspaper report said. State-controlled PT Bank Negara Indonesia is Indonesia's fourth-largest lender.
