In the next few months, Nissan Motor will start exporting passenger cars from China, Reuters reported. A company spokesman said Nissan's first shipment will be to Egypt and will involve 400 Livina hatchbacks and Bluebird Sylphy sedans made at a joint venture plant in south China. The spokesman added that the company may expand its exports to other markets in the future. This will be Nissan's first export of cars made in China. General Motors has sold China-made Chevrolet Lova compact cars to Ukraine and China-made engines to South Korea. Honda Motor exports Fit compact cars, called Jazz in some markets, from a factory in south China.
